Welcome to URIM Solutions Inc. (“URIM,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our diverse range of services, including Cleaning Services, Caregiving Services, and Employment Agency Services (collectively, the “Services”). By utilizing our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. General Service Provisions

1.1 Scope of Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and URIM Solutions Inc. regarding your use of the Services.

1.2 Confidentiality

All client information, including personal health information, scheduling details, and proprietary business information, is treated with strict confidentiality and is protected under applicable privacy laws (e.g., relevant provincial and federal privacy acts).

1.3 Insurance and Bonding

URIM Solutions Inc. confirms that all its employees and contractors are fully bonded and covered by comprehensive general liability insurance and Workers’ Compensation coverage (WCB/CNESST).

1.4 Modification of Terms

URIM reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify clients of significant changes via email or through an announcement on our website. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

2. Service-Specific Terms

A. Cleaning Services (Residential, Commercial, Deep Clean/Move-In-Out)

2.1 Service Authorization and Access The client must ensure access to the property at the agreed-upon time. Failure to provide access may result in a cancellation fee (see Section 3.1).

2.2 Liability for Damage While URIM is fully insured, the client must notify us immediately (within 24 hours) of any damage believed to be caused by our staff. Liability for damage caused by URIM staff is limited to the repair or replacement cost of the damaged item. Liability does not extend to pre-existing damage, or damage resulting from faulty installation or construction.

2.3 Client Responsibilities (Cleaning)

  • The client is responsible for securing valuables, cash, or sensitive documents.
  • The client is responsible for informing us of any special instructions or sensitive surfaces requiring specific cleaning methods.

B. Caregiving Services (Elderly Care, Respite, Post-Surgical Support)

2.4 Care Plan Agreement All caregiving services are based on a personalized, written Care Plan agreed upon by the client/family and URIM. Services not outlined in the Care Plan will not be provided unless formally approved and added.

2.5 Non-Medical Scope URIM’s caregiving services are non-medical. Our caregivers do not administer injections, change sterile dressings, or perform medical procedures. We can provide medication reminders and assist with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living).

2.6 Emergency Procedures In the event of a medical emergency, the caregiver is trained to first contact emergency services (911/local equivalent) and then immediately notify the designated emergency contact listed in the Care Plan.

C. Employment Agency Services (Staffing)

2.7 Placement Fees and Guarantees Fees for permanent and temporary staffing solutions are outlined in a separate, written Staffing Agreement between URIM and the hiring business. Placement guarantees (if applicable) and refund policies are governed by the terms of that separate agreement.

2.8 Non-Solicitation The client business agrees not to directly hire or solicit any URIM employee or caregiver introduced by URIM for a period of [e.g., twelve (12)] months following the termination of the service contract with URIM. A violation may result in a substantial penalty fee, as outlined in the Staffing Agreement.

3. Billing, Payments, and Cancellations

3.1 Cancellation Policy

All Services (Cleaning & Caregiving): If the client cancels a scheduled service with less than [e.g., 24 or 48] hours’ notice, URIM reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee equivalent to [e.g., 50%] of the scheduled service cost or a flat fee of [Insert Amount].
